We have made Lambs Conduit Street our permanent home! As the first location for our pop-up store, returning here was an easy decision. With its carefully selected independent retailers, high quality menswear stores and a village-like atmosphere, it is an incredible place for a one-stop shopping experience. We have put together a guide to the area, highlighting some fantastic independent businesses that we are proud to call our neighbours.
Lambs Conduit Street, bloomsbury
Lambs Conduit Street sits in the heart of Bloomsbury, a stones throw from Holborn and Russell Square stations. It is a beautiful pedestrianised street with a rich history, that it still lives up to today. It is named after William Lambe, who built a conduit/pipe to provide spring water to the city. It became famed after Charles Dickens became a local resident in the area.
It retains Victorian charm with the oldest pubs in the area, The Perseverance and The Lamb. The success of the street is owed to its local residents who commit to banning popular corporate chains from residing in the area, opting to have and celebrate independent retailers. We are incredibly proud to be a part of the community!
